Answer:

c. people may remember his habits and virtues.

Explanation:

The poem "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard" was written by Thomas Gray in 1750. In this poem, the author reflects on the remembrance of death. He thinks of all the people who have died in the churchyard, and how all people eventually die, including himself. He reflects on how others might look at his tombstone and ask about him. However, he seems to take comfort from the thought that people may remember his habits and virtues.

Answer:Ndotsheni is a poor, agricultural village with a strong sense of community and a spiritual connection. Johannesburg is a corrupt, big city where it's every man for himself. Let's examine each setting from Alan Paton's 'Cry, the Beloved Country.

Explanation:First, there is the "Cry," which is an order to someone. It's basically saying, hey you! Cry! ... The second part of the title tells us who the "Cry!" is addressing: "the Beloved Country." The beloved country is, of course, South Africa.

Global Warming Argumentative Essay: The unusual rapid increase in earth’s average surface temperature typically caused due to human activities is known as Global Warming.

Global warming is expected to have long-lasting, far-reaching, and in extreme cases, devastating consequences for planet earth. Even though many people believe otherwise, Global Warming is one of the most pressing and serious issues that the world is facing today.

Everybody is familiar with Global Warming; however, the meaning is still not clear to many. Global warming refers to the continual rise in the overall temperature of the earth. Various activities are occurring that are contributing to increasing the temperature gradually.

Global warming is essentially the average increase in the earth’s atmospheric temperature caused due to greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases – mostly consisting of carbon dioxide, water, nitrous oxide, methane – absorb and store heat in the atmosphere.

Global warming has become a significant problem that requires undivided and immediate attention. It is not occurring due to any single cause, but several causes are leading up to it. These causes are both human-made as well as natural. The natural causes include the greenhouse gases being released, which are not being able to escape from the earth, which results in a temperature rise.

This correlation shows how even small changes in the climate can result in grave problems such as global warming. Solving global warming might be challenging, but it is not impossible. It can be controlled even if not stopped by the combined efforts of everyone.
