A right triangle means that one angle is 90 degrees. If the other is 30 then we can figure out the last one.
A triangle’s interior angles add up to 180 so all we have to do is subtract the other angles from 180 to find the remaining one.
180-90-30=60.
The third angle is 60 degrees.

What are the coordinates of the vertex of the graph of y = x2 + 8x + 1?
Rus_ich [418]

Answer:

y= x2 + 8x - 1 is y=(x+4) 2-17

Step-by-step explanation:

First find  - b/2 = - 4, so  -4 will be added to x inside the parenthesis.

Next , find c - b2 to find the value you added at the end

y= (x- b2) 2 + c - b2

y= (x+4) 2 - 17

A restaurant chain had 15,250 locations in 1975. By 2000, there were 21,655 locations. What was the percent increase in location
jek_recluse [69]
It is given in the problem that in 1975, the number of restaurants chain is 15,250.
It is also given in the problem that 2000, the total number of restaurants is 21, 655. Therefore, the solution is is shown below:
% increase= ((# of restaurants is year 2000 - # of restaurants in year 1975)/number of restaurants in year 2000) * 100
% increase = (21,655-15250)/21,655 *100
% increase = 29.58%
Answer is 29.58%

What are the zeros of 3x²(x+π)³(x-4)²
Aneli [31]
Hi again!

The zeros are the values of x. This is where the graph intersects the x - axis. In order to find the zeros, replace y with 0 and solve for x.

The answer is x = 0, -π, 4

I am not sure what grade are you or the level, but for me, they sometimes asked me to find their multiplicities as well

The multiplicity of a root is the number of times the root appears.

So, the answer are
x = 0 and the multiplicity of 2
x = -π and the multiplicity of 3
x = 4 and the multiplicity of 2

Good luck with your studies!
