In the United States, this privilege gives the president and other members of the executive to refuse subpoenas from the legislative group of the government to access any information from them. Presidents have the power to keep confidential information to avoid unnecessary issues that may affect the government and the country. For example, if there’s an issue with the military and the president decided to keep this information, then it will be keep.
