In the beginning we have to find Lcm
(Lcm of 4,6,3 & 12 is 12)
so
3/4 will be 9/12
3/6 will be 6/12
1/3 will be 4/12
2/12 will be 2/12
So, the order will be
2/12,4/12,6/12,9/12
Then we will return the numbers as they were before
So, the answer is
2/12,1/3,3/6,3/4

To compare, create a common denominator:

3/4 = 9/12
3/6 = 6/12
1/3 = 4/12
2/12 = 2/12

Now we can list them: (least to greatest)

2/12, 1/3, 3/6, 3/4

Hope this helps!

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok, so we have to help your pupil (lets call her Jane) figure out "why researchers should use a random sample to conduct a survey". So, i will list all of the choices.

  • A random sample is likely to avoid bias
  • In a random sample some members of the population are more likely to be selected than others
  • Random samples provide consistency and systematically favor one choice over every other choice in each survey question
  • Random sampling will provide a more representative sample of population
  • Researchers can use a random sample to draw conclusions about the population

Random sampling is used to get the best average, and not favor any one opinion. For example, if you were trying to figure out the daily spending budget of people, you wouldn't just go to the upper clas part with all the rich people, you would survey from all over the town to get results from all kinds of people. So, the answers are:

  • A random sample is likely to avoid bias (because thats exactly what they do)
  • Random sampling will provide a more representative sample of population (because they are designed to do that)
  • Researchers can use a random sample to draw conclusions about the population (thats why they take the samples)

Hope this helps

The ratio of blue marbles to red marbles in a box is 3 to 2. if there are 12 blue marbles in a box then how many red marbles are
valkas [14]
The answer is: 8 red marbles!

This is because the equation can be written out like this
Blue to red - 3:2
Now it is, blue to red - 12:x

We have to think, what is the difference from the first equation to the second. We know the number 3 times 4 = 12, so we would do the same for the red, 2 times 4=8

If this helped, give me brainliest :)

Answer:

  0.344

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 20C10 = 184,756 ways to choose 10 problems at random from a list of 20.

There are 10C5 = 252 ways to choose 5 of the 10 algebra problems, and the same number of ways to choose 5 of the 10 geometry problems. Then there are 252² = 63,504 ways to choose 5 problems each of algebra and geometry.

The probability of choosing 5 problems in each category is ...

  63504/184756 ≈ 0.344
