The Hebrew nation was split into the Northern Kingdom and Southern Kingdom. The Northern Kingdom was known as Israel and it contained 10 of the 12 tribes. The Southern Kingdom became known as Judah and it contained the tribe of Judah and  Benjamin (I believe it's Benjamin).  Just an FYI, the Northern Kingdom fell first and were taken into captivity. Then many years later the Southern Kingdom was taken into captivity.
