Both types of neurons are affected.

The sensitized neuron is affected since we find numbness.

Numbness refers to a complete or partial loss of sensation. It can be a symptom of dysfunction of the nervous system.

Numbness occurs when part of the sensation lane is malfunctioning, usually because of a disorder or medication.

The motor neuron is affected because there is a loss of control of the legs.

The diagnostic orientation, faced with a motor or sensory deficit of one or more members, goes through two distinct stages: The syndromic and topographical diagnosis. The anamnesis should be initially undirected and let the patient express himself, then the semi-directive interrogation will seek to remove any ambiguity in the use of the terms used by the patient to describe his disorder.

It is common for a walking disorder, regardless of its origin (cerebellar ataxia, parkinsonian walk, etc.), is reported by the patient to "weakness" of the lower limbs. A "malfunction" of the hand can correspond, according to the patients, to a motor deficit, a proprioceptive attack or a cerebellar attack.

Kathy's medical history indicates that she is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS is a disorder of the central nervous system (CNS) and it is mediated and triggered by the immune system. The immune system attacks and destroys the insulating myelin cover of nerve cells of the CNS, causing severe disruption of the functions of the CNS. The most common symptoms of MS include visual, motor and sensory problems.

Kathy's medical problems are related to both her sensory and her motor neurons. She suffered from loss of hearing and experienced feelings of numbness and tingling in some parts of her body. These symptoms are related to her sensory neurons. There are several different kinds of sensory neurons, depending on the stimuli that they are receiving (smell, taste, hearing, vision, temperature, mechanoreceptors etc) and they all participate in the process of sensory transduction. She also suffered from muscle weakness, which caused her inability to get out of bed and walk properly. Her motor neurons are implicated in these symptoms. Motor neurons are the nerve cells responsible for activating muscle cells.

How did the kingdoms went from 2-6
Makovka662 [10]

Initially, when scientists were first using the taxonomy system to classify living organisms there were only considered to be 2 kingdoms: plants and animals. However, when the microscope was invented, scientists were able to observe differences in organisms at the cellular level! They were also able to observe microscopic living organisms like bacteria that they had not been able to observe before. Scientists realized it was necessary to add 4 new kingdoms to account for the observations they had not seen before the invention of the microscope.
