Answer

The correct answer is option C.

The theme of a story is the observation about life.

Explanation

A theme of a story is the message or the key idea delivered by the author. It is usually an observation about life. Most often themes based on aging, death, relationships and belonging are seen in young adult fiction. One such story is of Romeo and Juliet, which depicts the impulsive nature of the protagonists and how relations are destroyed in family feuds. It is on the person on how he interprets a topic.

Further Explanation

Theme is basically the central idea of the story. Short stories have only one theme whereas novels have multiple themes. The theme is weaved throughout the story and is reflected by the actions of the character and motivations and interactions. However, a plot or moral is different from the theme. The order of the story’s event is the plot and the lesson conveyed through the story is considered as a moral of the story. Theme illustration is the happenings of the story or the plot and the lessons are directly related to the theme.

So, to know the theme of any story, you must observe the dialogues, events, and lesson or the message the author and the characters are conveying throughout your reading. For instance, The Catcher in the Rye is a story about a boy Holden Caulfield, whose actions are motivated by his not wanting to grow up, so the novel’s theme is said to be the perpetuation of innocence.

Observation about life

A story's theme is the author's main idea or message. This is usually an observation about life. Many times in young adult fiction these themes revolve around topics such as coming of age, death, belonging, and relationships. Romeo and Juliet has many great themes about how impulsivity can lead to one's death or how a family feud can take away the things that families value most. Moral statements are usually reserved for fables. General subject matter is not a theme but instead a topic. A point of view on a difficult topic is a person's perspective.

The correct answer is "The hero".

The archetypal figure of the hero can present a character with very recognizable attributes that one would associate with heroicness, such as bravery or strength. However, often these characteristics can appear in more subtle ways or in the form of a journey. One of the biggest indicators of a hero's journey is a sense of growth and evolution in the face of great challenges as he manages to raise against the circumstances.

Explanation:

Just took it :)

Lying down was not an option, nor could we all sit down. We decide to take turns sitting. There was little air. The lucky ones found themselves near the window; they could watch the blooming countryside. After two days travel, thirst became intolerable, as did the heat. There was still some food left. But we never ate enough to satisfy our hunger. Our principle was to economize, to save for tomorrow. Tomorrow could be worse yet.
