Logical fallacies are erroneous arguments in the sense that the conclusion derived from the statements that make up the fallacy cannot be considered true. For example, if we say: " Women like household appliances , so women are good cooks." This is a fallacy that may work to convince potential consumers to buy the appliances advertised in any advertising medium but this fallacy will never be valid in an academic paper.
