personally, I think that its showing more that influence is real, and that it happens. as well to mention that during the time period this was written, women had basically no rights, so, it would be harder to relate to it, that's what makes the difference between a good writer and a legendary writer, in fact, if you relate to something, you generally enjoy it, or at least accept and embrace it, not so much that you become it, but that it is you, if that makes sense
