Lucy: "I don’t know why I bother talking to you, you don’t listen to a word I say!" What communication difference (or differences) led to the misunderstanding between Lucy and Peter?

Answer:    Women in communication emphasise emotions and men focus on solving problems

Explanation:  The misunderstandings in communication between Lucy and Peter arose primarily from the understanding of communication itself in women and in men, they differ. Men generally regard communication as a type of negotiation where practical matters are discussed, and in communication itself, men seek independence, and they seek it in the outcome of communication, therefore, as the "result of negotiations." Men see communication as an opportunity to solve problems and so perceive it when listening to women. Women, on the other hand, see communication as a way to strengthen a relationship and make friends. Women in communication are looking for rapprochement, equality, balance and understanding for their emotions, as in this case. That's why Lucy talked to Peter about her problems, approached communication emotionally, hoping that Peter would understand her situation and support her emotionally. Peter, on the other hand, heard real facts in the communication without emotion and tried to find a solution to the problem. Hence the misunderstanding between the two.

Your friend has just had a new baby boy. She is worried because her older child, a two-year-old girl, has been placing her toys
dexar [7]

Answer:

That the older child is not trying to hurt her but might actually be playing with her baby brother.

Explanation:

In life, people tends to associate and play with another individual in a way they deemed fit. A adult way of playing is different from a way a child would play.

In the case of the 2-year old girl, she might actually be surprised that she has a younger brother. In her own little way of playing with her, she is putting things into his crib as way of giving her younger brother rather than trying to harm him.

Anastaziya [24]

Answer: B. means that part of a city is connected to the world economy, but most is not

Explanation: Splintering urbanism is a term proposed by geographers Steven Graham and Simon Marvin to refer to the ways in which resources and infrastructures, including information and communication technologies, can separate or differentiate the experience of the city.

Splintering Urbanism makes an indepth analysis of the complex interactions between infrastructure networks found in urban spaces. It creates a different perspective of understanding urban change, bringing together discussions about: globalization and the city, how technology is affecting the society, urban space and networks as well as infrastructure and its effect on the built environment.

It basically talks about the differences infrastructure has on the economy of different parts of the same city.

In social science, there is strong empirical evidence for sociocultural influences on different expectations for the appropriate
IrinaK [193]

Answer:

Both should be revisited to see which is more reasonably arranged

Explanation:

Indeed true there are numerous socio-cultural and religious reasoning about what women should wear and behave in each of the compartments. The reality is that being in either one or the other has its short comings and their strengths.

In order to soften the acridity of either one, it must first be examined. Those that are antiquated and impractical from both sections must be discarded. In the same token, it must be noted that this is also a subjective matter and those who feel the need to comply with which ever they choose should do so without infringing on the rights of the others that do not wish to follow.

Finally, it must be understood and appreciated that men and women are not the same biologically and in some ways cognitively. Men and women must understand this and act accordingly.
