Number 27:
~So if Julia wants 1/3 of her 90 tiles replaced then she will need to replace 30 tiles.

1/3 of 90 = 30

Next, you have to multiply 30 by the price per tile.

30 x $2.69 = 80.70
_____________________________________________________________

~Julia will have to pay $80.70 to replace 1/3 of her tiles (30 tiles).

Hope this helps!!! :D

1. The function, g, is graphed below. EXPLAIN how to find x, if g(x) = -1 in sufficient<br> detail
konstantin123 [22]
<h3>Answer:  x = 1</h3>

=====================================

Explanation:

  • Step 1) Start at -1 on the y axis.
  • Step 2) Draw a horizontal line from -1 until you reach the g(x) curve.
  • Step 3) Mark the point of intersection. Let's call it point A.
  • Step 4) From point A, draw a vertical line until you reach the x axis. You should get to x = 1.

All of this is shown in the diagram below.

Now follow the arrows in reverse. This shows that x = 1 leads to y = g(x) = -1.

Therefore, g(1) = -1 and x = 1 is the solution to g(x) = -1.

Side note: The equation is g(x) = 2x-3. We can replace g(x) with -1 and solve for x to get x = 1.

Answer:

The diameter is 9.252 :)

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given diameter, get the radius. The perimeter of a semicircle is half the perimeter of a circle, but we excluded the base. So, the perimeter now is:

2πr+2r

Put the value of radius in the formula and get the answer wich is 9.252!
