Answer:

Therefore,

AB=6\ unit\\BC=6\ unit\\CD=6\ unit\\DA=6\ unit\\

Since , ABCD has four <u> Right </u> angles and four <u> Congruent </u> sides, it is a Square

Step-by-step explanation:

The four points for the Figure are

point A( x₁ , y₁) ≡ ( 0 , 6)

point B( x₂ , y₂) ≡ (6 , 6)

point C(x₃ , y₃ ) ≡ (6 , 0)

point D(x₄ , y₄ ) ≡ (0 , 0)

∠A = ∠B = ∠C = ∠D = 90°

To Prove:

ABCD is a Square

Proof:

∠A = ∠B = ∠C = ∠D = 90° .........Given:

Now By Distance Formula we have

l(AB) = \sqrt{((x_{2}-x_{1})^{2}+(y_{2}-y_{1})^{2} )}

Substituting we get

l(AB) = \sqrt{(6-0)^{2}+(6-6)^{2})}=\sqrt{6^{2}}=6\ unit

Similarly for BC ,CD ,DA we have

l(BC) = \sqrt{(6-6)^{2}+(0-6)^{2})}=\sqrt{(-6)^{2}}=6\ unit

l(CD) = \sqrt{(0-6)^{2}+(6-6)^{2})}=\sqrt{(-6)^{2}}=6\ unit

l(DA) = \sqrt{(0-0)^{2}+(6-0)^{2})}=\sqrt{6^{2}}=6\ unit

Therefore,

AB=6\ unit\\BC=6\ unit\\CD=6\ unit\\DA=6\ unit\\

Since , ABCD has four <u> Right </u> angles and four <u> Congruent </u> sides, it is a Square

Sally was standing 30 feet from a tree. The angle of
QveST [7]

Answer: The tree was 27 feet tall

Step-by-step Explanation: First of all Sally was standing 30 feet away from the tree and she looks up at an angle of elevation of 38 degrees to the top of the tree. With this bit of information we can determine that a right angled triangle has been formed with the reference angle as 38 degrees, the side facing it as h (the height of the tree) and the adjacent side as 30. We shall apply the trigonometric ratio as follows;

Tan 38 = opposite/adjacent

Tan 38 = h/30

0.7813 = h/30

0.7813 x 30 = h

23.4 = h

We remember at this point that Sally’s eyes were 4 feet above the ground. What we have just calculated is the height of the tree from “4 feet above the ground” (where her eyes were). Hence the actual height of the tree is calculated as 23.4 plus 4 which gives us 27.4

Therefore the tree was 27 feet tall (approximately to the nearest foot)

Hello, 40 POINTS + BRAINLIEST to a answer with a long explanation. The question below is just an example, I need to know how to
mezya [45]

Answer:

you times the number by itself the number of times the power is. 10 to the fourth power is 10 times 10 times 10 times 10, etc.

Step-by-step explanation:

For instance 10 to the third power is 1000 because 10 times 10 times 10=1000/

For your example the answer is 2 times 2 times 2 times 2=16. To figure out how much you times it by is if it is to the power of 4, you times it by itself 4 times, power of 5 = times it by itself 5 times, etc. Hope it helps!
