Wetland is an area of land that swelled or flooded with water. Wetlands have been destructed by drained and transforming into farmland. People believe it to be no importance and turned them to agriculture fields or other forms of development. In the United States, the highest degrees of wetland damage happened within the 1950s to the 1970s.
