Redundancy can be explained as the arrangement of duplicate devices in critical areas in case the primary device fails.

Resilience is, by definition, the ability to recover and restore to normal functioning after a failure.

In order for resilience to exist, there has to be redundant systems. The use of these two principles is what ensures the uninterrupted flow of information.

Why did some americans not support the revolution?

Some thought war was too drastic. They thought "wait a second, let's not do something crazy here. Let's just try to work with Britain to get our rights back, instead of overthrowing the whole thing and establishing our own thing. That's just too much." Some thought that we would lose the revolution (which, in all honesty, they had good reason to think that) and didn't want to upset Britain.
