If you were to write about your family history, what story would you choose to share? Explained in a well paragraph
Elina [12.6K]
I would choose to share about how my family came from a forigen state. I would write about the hard ships we had in our old home and what our ancestors did to get the home we had there. I would write about how it felt to go on a plane as a five year old and leave everything you call home behind. I would also share how it felt to have to state with my aunt ( whom I had just met ). And how it felt to start school and know not a bit of the language and people around you. That's what I would write about in my family history.

Describe a situation in which a person has legitimate power
Vladimir79 [104]
A person has legitimate power when they are president. For example Donald Trump makes laws based on his amount of power. Another example is a school principal because they get to buy things for the school and they have the power to expel people who do not follow the rules and guidelines of the school. These are situations in which a person has legitimate power. I really hope I helped you out! :)

Read this excerpt from The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe.
balu736 [363]

Answer: A

Explanation:

Defoe:   he spoke out against people who "barter baubles for the souls of men" and yet he invested heavily in the slave trade and maintained that it was "the most useful and most profitable trade . . . of any part of the general commerce of the nation."

Even though Defoe felt this way personally, I think that it is portrayed in the story that RC did not have to have people around him to be successful.  He not only was able to train people in how to care for the island and to survive, life seems to come and to to him.  He had the desire to keep on moving towards success.  I believe that him "owning" another person was not what  he wanted, but that he desired a friend.  He knew he could be successful with Friday.
