Actually welcome to the concept of the Areas and Volumes,

Here we calculate the area of a Trapezoidal Surface,

Area of a Trapezium is

A = 1/2 (a+b) *h

here, a=60 , b= 30 , h= 14

A = 1/2(90)*14

A = 630 in^2

Answer: 630 square inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula to find the area of a trapezium is given by :-

A=\dfrac{1}{2}h(a+b) , where h is the height and a & b are the measures of parallel sides.

According to the given figure , we have

a=30 in. b= 60 in. and h = 14 in.

Substitute all the values in the above formula, we get

A=\dfrac{1}{2}(14)(30+60)\\\\\Rightarrow\ A=(7)(90)=630

Hence, the area of the table = 630 square inches.

It would have to be D because it is obviously not just a translation or just a reflection. if you were to reflect it and then translate it then the triangle would just be facing the opposite direction but unless there is rotation involved then there is no way that the other triangle could end up upside down unless you were to reflect it twice but that is not an answer. In other words... its D

Using the ratio of perfect squares method, what is square root of 41 rounded to the nearest hundredth?
Bumek [7]
Hello,

I haven't found the ration of perfect squares methode unless it is to know all square root of numbers <100 (by heart)

As 41 is a primer number, I propose you an other old method (de Héron d'alexandrie)

Explanation:

x²=a
==>2x²=x²+a
==>2x=(x²+a)/x
==>2x=x+a/x
==>x=(x+a/x)/2 that is the recursive formula for the algorithm
