Discuss the theory of continental drift
Kamila [148]
The theory of the continental drift explained how the continents had shifted their original positions. Once all joined together, as a "Urkontinent." Many people thought it was the mountains making them sink, but then that was dismissed because continental rocks were too light to sink to the ocean floor.

1. At the location of any star, west is defined as the direction of the apparent motion, and east is the opposite direction. Is
Andre45 [30]

Answer and Explanation:

1. In order to determine the direction whether west is toward left or right, let us suppose that we are facing towards the  south direction.

Thus the apparent motion's direction at east is leftwards and hence west is  rightwards.

2. The vast majority of the stars seem to move in a similar way at both the north and south poles but not all the stars.

Since stars in northern half of the globe seem to turn clockwise however some are not seen because of going under the skyline and which is valid for southern side of the equator too.

What are some of the responsibilities of state governments in the United States? What do these states control within their bound
Tamiku [17]
States create their own laws, states have their own constitution, land and county governments. The state law stands unless a federal law overwrites it. States have their own transportation departments (make the roads, plan the roads, repair the roads).
