Some publications rightly point out the extreme importance of these problems and the insolubility of the contradictions that divided the US North and South. Civil wars can arise not only as a class or political one, but also as a civilizational conflict in which the warring parties defend a different system of values. They can be generated by 'skillful' fanning of contrsdictions, inciting public opinion on those from whom they construct the “image of the enemy” - of course, if there are serious grounds for such a confrontation. The decisive tool in such a heated atmosphere is not evidence, but gritty phrases, stereotypes, periodic repetitions, pumping of suitable myths into the public consciousness, often misinformation and falsification of genuine facts, that is, what was often observed during the Civil War in the United States.
No, to some observations with US policies it still displayed independence with some foreign policies especially when it comes with economy and security. But most friendly and humane foreign policies have adhered. Only it looks into critical decision-making that I believe can have an impact or a disadvantage.
