The Rocky Mountains is famous in the world due to <u>wind energy resources, solar energy resources and geothermal energy resources</u>. In addition to that, there is availability of hydropower. However, <u>the current non-renewable energy resource is coal that generates electricity.</u>

The Great plains contain <u>three nonrenewable resources which include; rich oil ,coal and gas. </u>Due to its harsh climatic conditions, the plains experience a lot of droughts and high wind speed that can result to devastating dust storms. <u>The renewable energy resources in the Great plain area include Solar energy, and geothermal energy</u>

Triss [41]

Explanation:

The general fertility rate is an age/sex-specific birth rate while the total fertility rate is an age/sex-adjusted birth rate. The TFR is an age-adjusted rate because it is based on the assumption that there are the same number of women in each age group.

Which of the earth's changes can be explained by plate tectonics? earthquakes erosion mountain ranges ocean trenches volcanoes w
VLD [36.1K]
They are can be except for wind weathering i believe. That is caused by the wind.
Ocean trenches are created by the moving apart of tectonic plates, volcanoes are pushed to erupt by the movement of tectonic plates and earthquakes are cause by the movement also.

I need this for a geo test tomorrow<br><br> Sa = Surface Area<br> (A bot answered last time)
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

Rect. Prism SA= 251. 75ft²

Cube SA= 8664in²

Cube SA= 6a²

Explanation:

SA= 2(lh+wh+lw)

Cube SA= 6a²

Rect. Prism SA

Assuming length(l)=11.5, width(w)=3.25 and height(h)=6

SA=2(lh+wh+lw)

=2(11.5×6+3.25×6+11.5×3.25)

=2(69+19.5+37.325)

=2×125.875

=251.75ft² (rounding is optional if you like)

Cube SA

SA=6a² (<em>a</em><em> </em><em>referring</em><em> </em><em>to</em><em> </em><em>the</em><em> </em><em>edges</em><em>/</em><em>sides</em><em>)</em><em> </em>

<em> </em><em> </em><em> </em><em> </em><em> </em>=6× 38²

=6×1444

=8664in²

Hope this helped.
