A goal of fidel castro was to bring communism to cuba

History

Answer:  TRUE

Historical context:

In the late 1950s, Fidel Castro led a revolution movement against Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista.  The US government had backed Batista, an example of how US foreign policy was willing to support non-democratic governments as long as they were in opposition to the threat of communism.  The Cold War policies of the US in those years were all about containing and fighting against communism -- which caused problems for the US in the long run.  (Heard of a thing called the Vietnam War?)

Castro's revolutionary forces were able to overtake the Batista government. Batista fled from the island on January 1, 1959 (he went to the Dominican Republic).  Fidel Castro took over as communist leader of Cuba, and remained in that position into the 21st century.

Suppose that you are an emancipated slave in the South at the end of the Civil War. What changes do you hope for your new life?
vazorg [7]

Answer:

As an emancipated slave I will be hopeful for the following changes:

1. Fair and equal treatment

2. Ability to work

3. Same opportunities like everyone else.

Explanation:

1. As an emancipated slave in the South at the end of the Civil War, I would be hopeful that I will have a chance to be treated fairly among my neighbors and others. Even though I might be different, it is not something I can change, I would hope that everyone would treat me with the same amount of respect as everyone else.

2. I would hope to have the ability to work among other people regardless of race since I'm free and no longer a slave.

3. Lastly I would be hopeful that I will be open to the same opportunities as everyone else.

Answer this Question<br> Reporting if Incorrect
Len [333]

Answer:

And you're really gonna report if it's incorrect for a measly 5 points. You're only hurting yourself just because people won't want to help because of the report. It really shows your character and what type of person you are. You need brainly to pass almost everything that you do in school. You're failing your history class obviously just because you can't afford a wrong answer. If you want help in the future, try being nicer about how you approach your problem and asking for help.

Explanation: I did nor right that, but I need to share it on because u r being rude and mean. I just started Brainly and ur already ruining it for me.
