Why is it possible that globalization will have a negative effective on Africa’s economy?

Doing an assignment on this at the moment, don't have much yet except:

- technological flows, medical advancements, people have greater Access to better technology and medical procedures etc. as economies are more linked.

- Greater competition as their are more TNC's and international banks.

- increased trade with other economies as globalisation has helped push new trade blocs, this gives consumers more choice.

- economic decisions such as interest rates being cut in an economy, may affect other close economies as they may push for their government to lower interest rates.
