How do I find the area of the figure?!

Find the area of the rectangle = 6(9)=54
then the two triangles can be put together to make a rectangle so that is 2(1/2(6)) = 6 
54 + 6 = 60cm squared

The two right triangles form a square clearly, use 2(1/2*2*3) = 6 + area of rectangle
= 6 + 9*6
=60 cm^2
