I think everyone should learn the language. It is important for people to be able to communicate with one another and understand what people are trying to tell you.

you can fix up grammar and punctuation

having the amount of privacy w/o having to worry about roommates or family being there. also the fact that since it is your own rented property you have the ability to do anything in your apartment <em>(that is permitted by the landlord)</em> also being able to have friends / lovers over at any time.
