This is the equation for a circle. The center of the circle is the source and the outside of the circle is the radio signal. x-4 notes the x-coordinate (or "h") of the center of the circle, and y-2 notes the y-coordinate (or "k") of the center of the circle. Therefore, the center of the circle sits at (4,2).  The formula for a circle is (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2. So the 169 is the square of the radius, which is 13. So the source sits at (4, 2) and the signals are at a radius length of 13, or 13 units from the center.

What is “ f(x) = 2x^2- 32x” in standard form if it has one?
kap26 [50]
Most textbooks interpret standard form of a quadratic function to be as follows:

f(x) = a x^{2} + bx + c

In the function f(x) = 2 x^{2} - 32x , notice we do not have a value for "c". Just place a "0" in for the c and you have standard form.

the criteria for standard form:
1. All like terms are combined
2. Degree must drop from left to right
3. The leading coefficient cannot be equal to zero.

2. If you pay a one-time fee of $30, you can
VikaD [51]

Answer:

Kindly check explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

One time fee = $30

Reduced price of ticket after one time fee payment = $17

Regular ticket cost = $25

Write an inequality that can be used to determine the number of reduced price concert tickets you would need to purchase in order for the total cost to be less expensive than the same number of regular tickets

Let the number of tickets needed to purchase = t

Reduced ticket = 30 + 17t

Regular ticket = 25t

30 + 17t < 25t

30 < 25t - 17t

30 < 8t

30/8 < 8t/8

3.75 < t

t > 3.75

Hence number of ticket must be greater than 3.75

t = 4
