Answer:

Don't know if you are still online but, I have an answer to 25. I got 5r-r^2-6

Step-by-step explanation:

I believe this equation is a polynomial equation where you combine like terms. When subtracting you distribute the negative first then combine the similar term, just like adding with an extra step involved. So you take 3r and 2r and combine them because (like mentioned), you combine the terms that are same. You add them and get 5r. Since -r^2 and six don't have  the same terms, they stay the same and you combine the terms and make in it into a simplfied polynomial sequence. 5r-r^2-6.

Hope this helped! Sorry it took so long! Haven't done this since last year.

Joy recorded the distances she walked each day for five days. How far did she walk in 5 days? Line plot: 3 xs on 1/3 1 x on 1/2
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

2\frac{1}{6}\approx 2.167 units.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that Joy recorded the distances she walked each day for five days.

To find the distance traveled be Joy in 5 days we will add the distances covered by Joy each day.

As there are 3 dots on 1/3, this means that Joy traveled 1/3 units on 3 days.

Since there is 1 dot on 1/2 and on dot on 2/3, so this means that Joy walked 1/2 units one day and 2/3 units another day.

Let us add all these distances.

\text{Total distance walked by Joy in 3 days}=3\times\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{2}+\frac{2}{3}

\text{Total distance walked by Joy in 3 days}=\frac{1*3}{3}+\frac{1}{2}+\frac{2}{3}

Let us have a common denominator.

\text{Total distance walked by Joy in 3 days}=\frac{3*2}{3*2}+\frac{1*3}{2*3}+\frac{2*2}{3*2}

\text{Total distance walked by Joy in 3 days}=\frac{6}{6}+\frac{3}{6}+\frac{4}{6}

\text{Total distance walked by Joy in 3 days}=\frac{6+3+4}{6}

\text{Total distance walked by Joy in 3 days}=\frac{13}{6}

\text{Total distance walked by Joy in 3 days}=2\frac{1}{6}

Therefore, Joy traveled 2\frac{1}{6}\approx 2.167 units in 5 days.

The football fields at three different schools were measured, and it was found that their perimeters were 320 m, 360 m, and 400
Tomtit [17]

Let us say that,

<span>A = perimeter of football field of the 1st school</span>

B = perimeter of football field of the 2nd school

C = perimeter of football field of the 3rd school

So that:

A = 320 m

B = 360 m

C = 400 m

So the first thing we have to do to find for the minimum laps to make is to divide every perimeter by the smallest one, therefore divide all by 320 m, hence:

A’ = 1

B’ = 1.125

C’ = 1.25

Now multiply everything by a number such that all laps will be a whole number, in this case multiply everything by 8:

A’ = 8

B’ = 9

C’ = 10

Hence the laps to run are:

<span>8, 9 and 10</span>

Solve for p. <br><br> 1. i = prt<br> 2. p = i-rt<br> 3. p = i/(rt)<br> 4. p = (rt)/i
Flauer [41]
The answer will be p = i/rt instead. You just flipped the process by mistake :)
