Condensation occurs when a substance change it form from gas to liquid. Condensation occurs when the water vapors present in the upper atmosphere in the form of clouds gets precipitated as rain.

Water falls to the Earth in the form of a liquid or solid: Precipitation

Precipitation is the release of water from the clouds in the form of rain or snow. This way the evaporated water present in the atmosphere comes back to the earth.

Liquid water changes into a gas: Evaporation

Evaporation occurs when liquid water of the water body gets evaporated due to the effect of surrounding heat. This water evaporates in the form of water vapors. The water vapors on reaching higher atmosphere results in cloud formation.

Water evaporates from the leaves of plants: Transpiration

Transpiration occurs when the water is lost by the aerated parts of the plant like leaves and stems. This water gets evaporated to the atmosphere.
