Still, these men were committed to be free from the yoke of British rule
and by signing the Declaration of Independence he were willing to face the

The State Board of Education has 11 members, including one student member, all appointed by the Governor of California. Student members are selected from a group of three students proposed by the Board. These are selected from a delegation of the Student Advisory Board on Education, a meeting of the California Student Council.
