Lakes can form:_______.
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

Idrk know how to explain this but um basically deposition of valley walls will create a river-like path which over the years creates a river I think. I just used process of elimination tbh... Hurricanes don't make rivers so B definetley isn't the correct answer. A collapsed volcanic caldera has legit nothing to do with rivers so thats a no for C. and that leaves A and D and if you poor like 100 whole jugs of water into soil its not going to create a river which leaves B as the only answer that makes sense. (I hope this somewhat helps, if need be I can try to elaborate more in the comments)

What is (2n-9)-(-2.4n+4)
Neko [114]

Answer:

 22n - 65

 ————————

    5

Explanation:

Changes made to your input should not affect the solution:

(1): "2.4" was replaced by "(24/10)".

STEP

1

:

           12

Simplify   ——

           5

Equation at the end of step

1

:

                     12

 (2n - 9) -  ((0 -  (—— • n)) +  4)

                     5

STEP

2

:

Rewriting the whole as an Equivalent Fraction

2.1   Adding a whole to a fraction

Rewrite the whole as a fraction using  5  as the denominator :

        4     4 • 5

   4 =  —  =  —————

        1       5

Equivalent fraction : The fraction thus generated looks different but has the same value as the whole

Common denominator : The equivalent fraction and the other fraction involved in the calculation share the same denominator

Adding fractions that have a common denominator :

2.2       Adding up the two equivalent fractions

Add the two equivalent fractions which now have a common denominator

Combine the numerators together, put the sum or difference over the common denominator then reduce to lowest terms if possible:

-12n + 4 • 5     20 - 12n

————————————  =  ————————

     5              5

Equation at the end of step

2

:

             (20 - 12n)

 (2n - 9) -  ——————————

                 5

STEP

3

:

Rewriting the whole as an Equivalent Fraction :

3.1   Subtracting a fraction from a whole

Rewrite the whole as a fraction using  5  as the denominator :

              2n - 9     (2n - 9) • 5

    2n - 9 =  ——————  =  ————————————

                1             5

STEP

4

:

Pulling out like terms :

4.1     Pull out like factors :

  20 - 12n  =   -4 • (3n - 5)

Adding fractions that have a common denominator :

4.2       Adding up the two equivalent fractions

(2n-9) • 5 - (-4 • (3n-5))     22n - 65

——————————————————————————  =  ————————

            5                     5

Final result :

 22n - 65

 ————————

    5
