The allied countries were not correct in choosing to
refuse Jewish victims refugee status during World War II. They could have saved
some of the Jewish people during the war. The reason could be that they felt
that if they gave the Jews a safe haven, their resources would diminish.
I might be wrong, but I think it's a verb. :^]
The theme is to enjoy the simple things in life such as the stars and each other. The poem shows that the characters should be doing something else but they prefer to stay under the stars enjoying them
