Relative humidity is the ratio of the air’s actual water vapor content to its capacity to hold water vapor at that same temperature. Relative humidity relies on the air temperature and the pressure of a particular system of interest. When there is equal amount of water vapor in cool air and warm air, there is formation of higher relative humidity in cool air than in warm air. Relative humidity read as 100 percent indicates that the air is totally saturated with water vapor and do not have the capacity to hold more water vapor and it shows the possibility of rain.
Farmer Wilcox should plant a windbreak or shelterbelt. There are plantations made up of one or more rows of trees to provide shelter from the wind and to prevent wind velocity near his farm.
