It might help if you create a table....
When x is 0, y is 40
When x is 1, y is 40.25
When x is 2, y is 40.50
When x is 3, y is 40.75
When x is 4, y is 41

Draw the quadrant 1 of the graph since you don’t really need any negative number unless you want to show them then draw the hole thing.
The y scale should start at 40 so draw an equal sign going through the line showing you skip all the number between 0-39 to get to 40. And from there you could start going up by 1 or .25 however you want to scale it
The x scale should just go by one
Staring at the origin (0,0) go up to 40 on the y and make a dot than move to x is 1 and follow what I wrote above for like a table and you’ll see the trend

Solving process:

1. Plug numbers into formula with their corresponding variable.

V=(1/3)Bh
216=(1/3)(36)h

2. Multiply 1/3 and 36.

216=12h

3. Divide 216 by twelve.

18=h

4. The height is 18 cm.

Apply the laws of exponents, calculate the result and express the result in scientific notation, and as a decimal:
DochEvi [55]

We are given

\frac{(4.1\times 10^{3})(2.8\times 10^{-7})}{(3.1\times 10^{-5})}

We can move like terms altogether

\frac{(4.1\times 10^{3})(2.8\times 10^{-7})}{(3.1\times 10^{-5})}=\frac{4.1\times 2.8}{3.1}\times \frac{10^{3}\times 10^{-7}}{10^{-5}}

now, we can use property of exponent

a^m\times a^n=a^{m+n}

=\frac{4.1\times 2.8}{3.1}\times \frac{10^{3-7}}{10^{-5}}

We can use another exponent property

\frac{a^m}{a^n} =a^{m-n}

so, we get

=\frac{4.1\times 2.8}{3.1}\times 10^{3-7+5}

=\frac{4.1\times 2.8}{3.1}\times 10^{1}

=3.70323\times 10^{1}

So, the result in scientific notation is

=3.70323\times 10^{1}..........Answer

So, the result as a decimal is

=37.0323.............Answer
