Answer:

(Positive) conditions :

A community's broader social norms support intergroup contact.

One-on-one interactions between members of different groups are encouraged.

The different groups have a shared goal.

(Negative) Condition :

One group has a higher status than the other.

Explanation:

The positive conditions would encourage bonding between people, it would create a really good and healthy enviroment.

The negative condition would encourage the rest of the groups to "join" and separate themselves of that group with higher status. It would not reduce prejudice and discrimination.

How would you summarize John Hay's first request in the first open door note?
BlackZzzverrR [31]

The Open Door policy was written in 1899. The U.S. was interested in acquiring cheaper goods (mainly cotton) from foreign markets.

John Hays wrote this policy to protect the privileges among countries that were trading with China. He wanted countries to have equal access to ports open to trade in China, and to avoid a monopoly.

The first note in the Open Door Policy said that (1) each great power should maintain free access to a treaty port or to any other vested interest within its sphere.

The motion of the particles is increased by raising the temperature. Conversely, the motion of the particles is reduced by lowering the temperature, until, at the absolute zero (0 K), the motion of the particles ceases altogether. Because the particles are in motion, they will have kinetic energy.
