The factors that allow earth to have liquid water are the atmospheric pressure and the stable temperature.

<u>EXPLANATION:</u>

  • The distance of the earth from the sun also helps the temperature to be regulated.
  • This temperature is perfect for existence of water in liquid state. At higher temperatures, all water would evaporate and exist in gaseous state.
  • The same is true for very low temperatures where water cannot exist in liquid form.
  • The presence of gases in the atmosphere also enable water to exist in the liquid form.
