There has not been many nuclear disasters in Europe, and the ones that have been have all had minor consequences, apart from one, Chernobyl. The Chernobyl nuclear disaster surpasses by far all others on the continent. This nuclear disaster managed to kill thousands of people instantly or after some time, and millions of people in the surrounding area have had consequences because of it. The area where it happened has been totally abandoned, and even nowadays there's no people living there because the radiation is still very high and extremely dangerous. It also prompted forced migration of the people from the region where it happened, so there were also multiple other problems, from economic, political, urban, humanitarian.

When the Supreme Court says a law is unconstitutional it means?
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

Exercising its check on the power of the legislations.

Explanation:

The supreme court belonged to the judicial branch of the government. As a form of check and balances, the judicial branch has the power to check the legislative branch by conducting a judicial review.

In a judicial review, the supreme court will evaluate the laws proposed by the congress and see if any part of the law proposal violates the United States constitution. If there's a part that violate it, the supreme court can deemed the proposed law as "unconstitutional" and the law cannot be passed by the Congress.
