My favorite character is Orlando, the main character in the book "Orlando" written by Vírginia Wolf.

This is my favorite character because he is a complex and philosophical character, but with a certain humor that does not make him boring. In addition, this character approaches concepts that I identify with a lot and defends arguments that are very important for society, in addition to being a very current character.

Orlando has a drastic change in history. Firstly, he has a gender change since, for mysterious reasons, he wakes up in one day and realizes that he has become a woman. This change is not only physical, since through this, Orlando ends up changing many opinions that he had about society and about the position that men and women assume in society.

Orlando is extremely intelligent, canny, poetic and changeable. These are qualities that I cherish and that I try to cultivate in my own personality.

Considering reading comprehension, what does “summarizing" mean?
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

B. Gaining the main ideas of passages or the text as a whole

Explanation:

A summary gives a brief of the major points in a long piece of writing. It can be in a research paper and essays or any other piece of writing. Usually, all the main ideas should be noted in a single paragraph or two, depending on the length of the piece of paper.

A summary is usually written when the original piece may be too long for either presentation or a more fundamental understanding of the concepts. The review leaves out details and information and picks out only significant points. The info left may distract the leader from focusing on the main points.
