Can someone give me revisions and make sure it has these three components: a description of the setting, introduction to main ch

aracters, hook your reader with a vivid description or interesting quote (Note: this is just an introduction)
“Come on, it will be fun, I promise.”
Best friends Dan Clark and Christopher Watson (Kit for short) were going to Stoddard's grocery store to get some snacks for a movie night with their friends when they noticed a flyer for “BARLOW'S GREAT NORTH AMERICAN CIRCUS.” On the afternoon and evening on May 18th at Smyrna, Tennessee. There was going to be a performance with a great variety of attractions. With acts such as clowns, trapeze artists, rope walkers, wild animals, and more! They’ve always seen circuses in movies and tv shows, and they were excited to buy tickets. But their friends were not as excited. “Come on, it will be fun, I promise.” “I can't, my mom asked me to babysit.” Their friend, Gwen said. “I'm going to a concert with Jason and I hate clowns.” Jackson explained, in the sea of their excuses came Stefanie’s tiny voice. “I can go.” Stefanie is Jackson’s sister. She is the youngest out of the group who just tagged along with her brother because their mom told him to bring her. So on May 18th, two-and-a-half hours before the afternoon performance, Dan, Kit, and Stefanie met up and were driving to the circus. “Where is it? 21 East Crimson Avenue, Smyrna, Georgia. Are you sure? Yeah. 100% sure? Yes! Just drive!” Dan argued. Once they arrived Dan and Kit noticed that it wasn’t as alive and bright as it was in the flyer more than it was dark gray, and dull; with some most horrifying imagery on the tents. Inside was just as horrifying and in the lighting the innocent looking hoops and ropes looked as if they could be weapons.

Use your knowledge of plot, theme, and character development to write a brief summary of “Stray.”
Phantasy [73]

In the story, "Stray" Doris finds a cold, shivering puppy that wandered onto the property of Mr. Lacey and his wife, Mamie. They had a daughter named Doris. Icicles hung three feet or more from the overhang of houses, snowdrifts gobbled up autos, and the feathered creatures were so cushioned up they looked comic. They didn't know where it came from, but they did know where it was going. Mr. Lacey wanted to take it out to the pound in the city right away but, the roads were too bad to travel, for many days. However, Doris thought that it was a good dog. Four days passed, and the puppy still didn't complain. Doris knew her parents wouldn't let her keep the puppy because her father was earning so little money. She knew that the puppy was surely going to go to the pound when the weather got better. She did talk to her parents about the dog at dinner once, but they didn't say anything as if they were ignoring her. Doris said, "She's not much trouble" and "I like her" but, Mrs. Lacey just shook her head. Eventually, the time came to bring the puppy to the pound. It was on Saturday when the dog had to leave Doris. She begged to her mom, then her dad, to let her keep the dog. Her mom just told her, "You know we can’t afford a dog, Doris. You try to act more grown-up about this." She was so tragic, everything she could do was cry herself to bed and dream about seeking for something she lost. It was nearly night when she woke up, hungry, but didn't want to face her parents or go through the basement door. When she went down to the kitchen, her parents were almost done with dinner drinking coffee. She made herself a glass of powdered milk and drank it all down. Then, as soon as she started to head out the door, Mr. Lacey asked her if she was going to feed the mutt. Doris was confused and surprised at the same time. She asked Mr. Lacey what he was talking about, and Mr. Lacey told her that the pound was the worst looking place he's ever seen. He couldn't leave an animal there. Not even an ant. Therefore, he brought it back home.

(Should student’s textbooks be replaced by notebook computers? Write your opinion in not more than 150 -200 words) Draft an opin
Alborosie

Answer:

Books have no substitute I believe, they are the best partners but when we talk about textbooks, it means a load, students carrying on their backs. Gone are the days when people believed in plenty of books and notebooks. We are living in technology world where everything is technologic. The most appropriate substitute of textbooks is laptops, tablets and notebooks which are compact, light and are easy in use. Every year Four billion trees are cut down for making papers, notebooks, and workbooks and by practicing laptops in our schools, universities, we can get more clean and fresh air as there would be no more cut down of trees.

Although laptops are quite expensive, but they have enough useful benefits also. Every year government spends huge amount on replacing textbooks as per changing of syllabus and content. With the help of laptops, publishers and teachers would be able to update contents easily and more quickly. Students should be able to use laptops instead of workbooks as It would be helpful for them and environment too.
