Can someone give me revisions and make sure it has these three components: a description of the setting, introduction to main ch

aracters, hook your reader with a vivid description or interesting quote (Note: this is just an introduction)
“Come on, it will be fun, I promise.”
Best friends Dan Clark and Christopher Watson (Kit for short) were going to Stoddard's grocery store to get some snacks for a movie night with their friends when they noticed a flyer for “BARLOW'S GREAT NORTH AMERICAN CIRCUS.” On the afternoon and evening on May 18th at Smyrna, Tennessee. There was going to be a performance with a great variety of attractions. With acts such as clowns, trapeze artists, rope walkers, wild animals, and more! They’ve always seen circuses in movies and tv shows, and they were excited to buy tickets. But their friends were not as excited. “Come on, it will be fun, I promise.” “I can't, my mom asked me to babysit.” Their friend, Gwen said. “I'm going to a concert with Jason and I hate clowns.” Jackson explained, in the sea of their excuses came Stefanie’s tiny voice. “I can go.” Stefanie is Jackson’s sister. She is the youngest out of the group who just tagged along with her brother because their mom told him to bring her. So on May 18th, two-and-a-half hours before the afternoon performance, Dan, Kit, and Stefanie met up and were driving to the circus. “Where is it? 21 East Crimson Avenue, Smyrna, Georgia. Are you sure? Yeah. 100% sure? Yes! Just drive!” Dan argued. Once they arrived Dan and Kit noticed that it wasn’t as alive and bright as it was in the flyer more than it was dark gray, and dull; with some most horrifying imagery on the tents. Inside was just as horrifying and in the lighting the innocent looking hoops and ropes looked as if they could be weapons.

Answer:

Here's my best take; from an authors perspective.

Explanation:

"Finally freakin outta class, gosh Sally was looking good today"  - I say as im starting my engine.

Finally out of class!  Time to go home and play some mothafreaking halo. I was cruising down the street, couldn't get Sally's phattt as..; I mean new earrings out of my head.

"Stoplight up ahead" I think to myself, barely even aware of what I am doing, too busy thinking about Sally's phatttt as..

I stop at the stoplight, its a red. I look to my left, and see a child standing at the base of the traffic pole.  He was barely dressed; a new t-shirt  with destroyed pants, shoes, and a missing sock.  He looked like he hadn't showered in days; in fact, he looks no older than ten years old.

"I did just get paid, I guess I could spare some change." I think to myself.

Feeling generous, hoping Sally is watching somehow. I pull a couple one dollar bills out of my wallet.  I hold it out the window, and beckon the boy over.  He has to cross a lane of traffic to get me, but all the cars are stopped.

He reaches his hand out to grab the money, he was just a hair away, eyes gleaming with the thoughts of candy and whatever else this ten year old was going to waste my money on. But, just before he could grab the money; this young black man, with dreads and tattoos runs up.  He snatches the money out of my hand.  It looked like he had a cell phone in his other, he was recording himself.  I watch him start to make some distance before I wildly hear him scream

"BOOOOOOONK GANG'

'BOOOONK GANG'

'WHOLE LOTTA GANG POOP,,, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN"

And with a 'BOOOOOOOOONKKKKKKKKKK GANGG" he faded into the sun, money and phone in hand.

Answer:

The literary resource he uses is personification.

Explanation:

Personification is a literary resource that allows inanimate animals or objects to have human abilities. This feature is noticeable in the phrase "" what does the Hound think about down there nights? "Where a dog is given the ability to think about something, and that ability is specific to humans.

The use of this resource develops the dialogue and serves to help the reader to understand the two persuasions exposed.
