Answer: Imagery

Explanation:

  • Imagery is used with figurative language and it has ability to represent events, actions, ideas, object and characteristics that can appeal easily to our physical senses so it is very realistic. Since it is very realistic in many cases it is not something that is simple and often it has more complex meaning and picture with many symbols behind it.
  • In this given sentence we have realistic description of exactly what and where did Ed ordered his lunch. We have its proportions and location.

What part of the digestive system isn't working properly in people who cannot absorb nutrients?
andrew11 [14]
Well I'm not a big science wiz but most likely its the liver because the when you eat food it goes through all the other parts in the body and at some point it gets to the liver and the liver absorbs nutrients and vitamin (like vitamin C or etcetera) so I'm not sure if this is right or not but that's exactly what the liver does so I would have to say the answer is liver

Sever21 [200]

Answer:

The first three points are what they (the cats) are related to, how they seem to act, and how they are throughout the story. These points will help explain the differences in the story. In "The Golden Cat" the cat is related to the sun, but in "The Cat and The Moon" the cat is being compared to the moon.

The cat in "the golden cat" acts like the sun because he watches over people. The cat in "the cat and the moon" does not seem to care as much about people, similar to how the moon feels to some people. The line "he makes the fields and meadows purr" in "the golden cat" describes the cat is wonderful. The cat in the "cat and the moon" is described as being scared. This can be seen in the lines "the pure cold light in the sky trouble his animal blood. Minnaloushe runs in the grass."

There are two more points on the differences. The cat in the "golden cat" acts domestic, but the other cats in the cat and the moon act absolutely different.
