Answer:

To provide the alternative perspective that social networks may be more helpful than harmful.

Explanation:

In the article written by a media outlet on November 8, 2011, two points of view are contrasted on the negative/positive aspects of social media networks. The first was that of Matthew Brashears who highlighted the fact that people were having fewer real friends whom they can go to for help even though they had a large friend base on social networks.

Keith Hampton, however, highlighted the positive aspects of social networks which he believed was healthy for us. One of them was that people had more social support than they would have had offline.

Which of these definitions best describes mood in poetry?
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

The emotional quality of a literary work.

Explanation:

Mood in poetry refers to the poet's choice of words - he or she may use depressing words, uplifting words, neutral words, etc, depending on the mood, or emotions they want to convey. Mood is the general feeling within a poem, the emotions you as a reader may experience while reading the poem.

It doesn't have to be a message about life - while all poems have a particular mood, not all poems speak about life lessons. The attitude of the poet is known as tone, rather than mood. The cause for a character's actions is known as motivation, not mood.
