When studying historiography, or the history of history, it’s important to realize that every historian presents ideas in a different way. That’s because they have perspectives that affect how they think and what they believe. However, good historians use a variety of sources to make sure their arguments are based on facts and sound evidence.

Historiography is a social science that studies and analyzes the different ways in which History is written down and interpreted.

Historiography deals with different arguments from Historians, due to the fact that Historians have different perspectives (it could also be theories, hypothesis, and/or ideologies) on the same topics. These different perspectives affect the way Historians interpret historical facts and, therefore, their readings tend to vary.

However, in order to increase the accuracy of their studies, Historians try to use a variety of sources to contrast the facts and make solid arguments out of them.
