Geological features that can formed at a subduction zone is Mid-ocean ridges

Explanation:

Mountains on land are called mountains, which are formed due to tectonic events as learnt in books. But what about mountains underwater are known as ridges. Sometimes even as mid-ocean ridges. These are ridges which are underwater and formed with tectonic plates.

There are two processes come across in them called ridge-push and slab-pull. Under the seduction zone, slab pull is the process that comes into motion. Under this Weight of the heavy tectonic plates are being pulled in the process. Apart from mid-ocean ridge no other geological feature can be formed at the seduction zone.

What is essential for a confederation?
user100 [1]

Answer:

smaller political units maintaining their sovereignty

Explanation:

Confederation is the name given to a country that is a federation, but the states that make up that country maintain their sovereignty, separate from the power of the federal government. In this case, to maintain a confederation it is essential that the smaller political units, the states, maintain their sovereignty. This is different from a federation, because in a federation, states lose sovereignty, transferring it to the federal government.
