It does state a clear view of what the claim is, nor does it give information regarding if people should own pets. The author does absolutely nothing to support his claim, credibly. He supported his claim with, once again, personal preferences, and does not take a strong stance on the conclusion clincher. The author concludes to his own liking, and it is not issued in 3rd person as should be stated. The POV is in error. The author refuses to place an argumentative bearing on his essay, and continues in 1st person rather than the preferred 3rd. Transitions are lacking, and when used, aren’t used correctly. </span>
