Even though there are no answer choices, here is some information that can help!
- Capitalism is an economic system based on the following principles:
1) Little government interference in the economy- Capitalists belief that competition among businesses will help to keep prices low and will prevent them from acting illegally.
2) Individual freedom- In a capitalist system, individuals can spend their money on whatever they like.
3) Supply and demand- The amount of resources created by businesses is driven by the consumer. If there are products that people buy an extraordinary amount of, businesses will continue to produce it at a high rate. The opposite is true as well.
Unions protect workers from various company abuses such as unsafe/uncomfortable working conditions, long hours, arbitrary hiring & firing, and so on.
They give workers a chance to speak at the same negotiating & power levels of the managers and owners.
They allow workers to collectively bargain for wages, benefits, an acceptable work environment, and more.
Unions prevent managers from having to address worker grievances one-by-one.
Unions give workers more job security and piece of mind, reducing the stress of possible layoffs & wage/benefit cuts.
Unions create a stable, long-term employment relationship between company and employee, which is good for both.
Unions lead to higher prices for consumers since companies must pay more for wages & benefits, which are then passed on to customers.
Unions make the country less competitive since non-unionized companies in India, China, Taiwan, etc. can pay workers far less and therefore charge less and/or assign more workers per unit of product
Yes but I think it’s best not to do that because getting good grades but not really learning when you cheat is not good for you. I never done it nor had I have any sociology classes. Just pay attention in class and copy notes and most likely you will do fine :)
Maybe because it put hope in their life that a greater power had a cause for them (idrk hope this help tho)
4) Printing Press
The wheel, compass and astrolabe all have nothing to do with the split from the catholic church. The Printing Press, which allowed people to spread copies of the bible to the masses, would have helped with the reformation.
