Poetic tribute about the spirit of the United States:

My nation is for adoration

So state its valleys

Where old waterways stream

The round trip of life

Under the pleased eye of winged creatures

Embellishing the sky.

O wonderful for roomy skies,

For golden floods of grain,

For purple mountain majesties

Over the fruited plain!

Love America Love America once more.

Love the fantasy it used to be.

Love the pioneer on the plain

Looking for a home where the Mind smiles

Be that as it may, the most bizarre thing yet was a fly without wings

Once as a fly it played in the stars

Singing, with open mouths, with happy soul for the country!

Write a one-paragraph summary of “Chaucer changing world
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

Explanation:

Feudal England, the Middle Ages, the medieval period—these are names historians assign to a period of English history that lasted approximately from 500 to 1500 A.D. and that was gradually coming to an end during the life of one of England’s most celebrated writers, Geoffrey Chaucer, who was born in the early 1340s and lived till 1400. In The Canterbury Tales, Chaucer presents what today’s readers might consider snapshots of life in the late medieval period. Medieval people harbored similar hopes and nursed similar worries to those that occupy people today; yet the settings and activities of their daily life are now vanished into the remote past. So, if you’d like to travel comfortably alongside Chaucer’s pilgrims, you’ll likely benefit from information about how they spent their days and employed their energies and abilities.

At the end of the first stanza, the vocalist sings of his love rising up. Which best describes the shape of the singer's melody
Nastasia [14]

Hello. This question is incomplete. The full question is:

The piano part (Schumann: In the Lovely Month of May, from A Poet's Love) is played at a slow pace (tempo) with a freely moving melodic line. This music sounds indecisive, like it's wandering through many pitches, moving between major and minor keys.

At the end of the first stanza, the vocalist sings of his love rising up. Which best describes the shape of the singer's melody (the contour) at the end of the stanza?

Answer:

the singer's melody ascends

Explanation:

At the end of the first stanza, the singer's melody ascends. This is directly related to the relationship between the moment of history that is being narrated through music, with the impact that one seeks to create on the listener. This creates a harmony between the elements of creation of the work, managing to reach the listener in several points of its perception.
