Divergent:
when two plates move apart. It could be oceanic to oceanic, oceanic to continental, or continental to continental. This causes earthquakes, and ocean basins, or and rift valleys.

Convergent:
When two plates collide. (same concept). This causes islands and volcanoes to form when the denser plate subducts under the other plate in the subduction zone. This can also cause mountain ranges to form when plates collide and buckle.

Transform:
When two plates slide past each other in the same direction at different speeds, or in different directions. (same concept) this causes earthquakes and faults.

Sorry this isn't as in depth as you wanted it to be! ^^

Describe how the residents of Belize have adapted to their particular environment.
PolarNik [594]

Belize's population has adapted to use the tropical rainforest and the waters in order to survive in the harsh environment.

Explanation:

Belize is a small country that is cover with dense, tropical rainforest. It comes out on the Caribbean Sea, and it is a country that is abundant with rivers and streams. The tropical rainforest is a very tough place for living, especially if the lifestyle of the population is not of primitive type, so the people are almost exclusively settled along the coastline.

The tropical rainforest is used as a natural, free, high producing garden of fruits, but also lot of plants used for medicine. The people also tend to hunt a lot, as there is an abundance of animals. The primary source of resources though are the rivers and the sea, where the majority of the population is involved in fishing and gathering sea plants.
