I don't agree with his policy because by excluding the Anglo-Saxon nobility he created and opportunity that they would revolt against him as he didn't provide them any benefits that they enjoyed before. Therefore, I believe that politically this was a wrong move.
On the other side, it was also economically wrong move, as those people were acquainted with peasantry and other members of lower social layers and they could make them accept the new ruling class more easier.
