The nations who don't care about human rights and has severe threats for humans, like Sudan did in its country against different communities, the United States imposed economic sanctions against the nation. They were unable to travel to developed countries especially in America, Canada, and Europe.

But when the Sudan government negotiated with the United States and agreed to end the terror war, the United States eliminated sanctions.

NAFTA stands for Northern American free trade agreement between Mexico, Canada, and America.  It has been working since 1994. Purpose of NAFTA is to make trade free of regulations. The other purpose of NAFTA is to protect the trade rules according to the country environmental laws, common rules and jurisdictions. The recent meeting held and all three countries agreed to change the name of NAFTA to USMCA, United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. But it couldn't effective before 2020 because some legal formalities are required on behalf of all countries which would be passed by the legislatures of each country.
