<span>The political instability of France during the Revolution allowed Napoleon to take advantage of the people's need and want for reform. throw in his military successes against Austria and the Kingdom of Naples along with his major triumphs in Egypt, and he was able to win them over to proclaim him 'first consul for life'. Read 'young bloods' and 'the generals' by Simon Scarrow. Both very good reads (he's bringing out two more but they're not written yet.

Why was the Georgia colony founded?
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

b. As a place to resettle people who had been in prison

Explanation:

The original goal of the founders was to provide a place to resettle people who  have been in prison and offer them a second chance in life.  That colony would welcome ex-prisoners as well as debt-ridden people and poor persecuted protestants.

However, they changed their mind when came the moment to recruit colonists... and opted more for skilled workers and artisans.
