The answer is wrong. The correct answer is that in laboratory settings, people can process and respond to information outside of their awareness.

EXPLANATION

The subliminal message refers to the message or signal that is made to pass below the usual limits of perception. The subliminal message goes into our unconscious mind, where the conscious mind does not realize this. The subliminal message is in the deeper part of the mind. At first, the subliminal message is briefly transmitted through the conscious mind, but it will eventually be perceived unconsciously.

To put it in a more simpler way, a subliminal message, either sound or image message, will be perceived by the deeper parts of the single integrated mind. In daily practices, people use the subliminal message for propaganda purposes and advertising. The subliminal message is trying to be put in the unconscious part of the mind so that people will do a specific thing for the advantage of a specific community.

The term subliminal message was first used in the year 1957. It is included in the book titled “The Hidden Persuaders”, and it was written by Vance Packard. The book is about movie theaters who use the subliminal messages for the customers. The subliminal message is for the customers to buy coca-cola and popcorn at the movie theater. Later, people found out that the study was fabricated and the author admitted it. Years after this, the book “Subliminal Seduction” was published, and it was true subliminal techniques that are used in advertising.

No. The correct response would be that: In laboratory settings, people can process and respond to information outside of their awareness. It is possible for individuals to get messages that are below the threshold for conscious awareness and this can have an effect on behavior outside the laboratory settings.

A retrieval cue:
Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

(a)-is something inside your head that is related to the memory you are trying to retrieve.

Explanation:

A retrieval cue is something that is stored in the brain's memory that helps us to remember something when we want to recall.

Whenever we make some new memories, we introduce some  information about the situation that triggers to access that memory from the brain.

The memory is inside our head that we are able to relate and try to retrieve from certain cues. For example when we meet someone at a place, we try to remember the situation of that place and also what made us introduce ourselves, we try to remember some special character like what type of place it was whether it was at the party or at office or at someone's place.

So we meet the same person again, we try to remember or recall them better by the help of these cues.

Thus the answer is

(a)-is something inside your head that is related to the memory you are trying to retrieve.

Por qué las personas creen en Dios
salantis [7]
