At what point did you realize the purpose of the lottery

English
1 answer:
fiasKO [112]3 years ago
5 0
The purpose of the lottery is essentially a malformed version of Robin Hood. Instead of stealing from the rich to give to the poor, the lotto gets donations from the poor to give to a random person. Could be rich, could be poor. A "tax on the poor" as Dave Ramsey puts it.
