What inference can be drawn about Brutus’s motivation and his character?

The correct answer is Brutus seeks to protect Rome from tyranny. Brutus is a supporter of the republic who strongly believes in a government guided by the votes of senators. Brutus’s inflexible sense of honor makes it easy for Caesar’s enemies to manipulate him into believing that Caesar must die in order to preserve the republic. While the other conspirators act out of envy and rivalry, only Brutus truly believes that Caesar’s death will benefit Rome. Torn between his loyalty to Caesar and his allegiance to the state, Brutus becomes the tragic hero of the play.

Brutus seeks to protect Rome from tyranny. This is the correct option. Brutus is an idealist and he loves Rome. He imagines Caesar will become a tyrant and this idea torments Brutus. Brutus thinks that tyranny will ruin Rome and her people.

These options are not right:

-Brutus is ambitious for power of his own. He wants to protect Rome against any evil.

-Brutus acts without thinking things through. In fact, he evaluates Cassius' words and he joins him in to kill Caesar. He thinks he will make Rome good.

-Brutus hates Caesar and is jealous of him. Brutus admires and honours Caesar but his love for Rome is much stronger.

Answer:

It illustrates Thoreau's goal to continue exploring the world around him in a unique and fulfilling way.

Explanation:

The excerpt we are studying here was taken from Thoreau's "Walden", a book in which he narrates his experience of living, simply and solitary, in a cabin in the woods for some time. This excerpt, as a matter of fact, belongs to the books conclusion. From it, we can gather that Thoreau has the purpose of exploring the world, finding fulfillment in doing so. To express that, he uses imagery - a literary device in which authors appeal to the five senses, providing vivid descriptions. He compares the experience of exploring the world in a philosophical way to the experience of exploring it physically. We can visualize the boat, Thoreau traveling on the deck instead of in a cabin, truly seeing, taking in what the world has to show.

If you will give pieces of advice to students like you on how to be a responsible netizen or social media user, what would it/th
valina [46]

Answer and Explanation:

First, it is important to advise that a good user on the internet maintains respect for all people. Many people hide behind the anonymity of the internet to be disrespectful and prejudiced towards other people. This is highly wrong, respect must be maintained at all costs, tolerance and cordiality.

Another advice would be to combat disrespect on the internet, denouncing users with bad behavior, making the online environment safer and more pleasant.

Finally, it is important that the Internet user does not access sites with criminal content, but combat this type of environment.
